UG_IO SimSys TRI 3D Grid File Type
A Cart3D TRI 3D file contains a tria face boundary surface grid. The single component (*.tri or ASCII *.a.tri), multiple component (*.tri or ASCII *.a.tri), and wetted surface multiple component (*.i.tri or ASCII *.a.i.tri) Cart3D file types are all supported by the UG_IO TRI file type (*.tri). File format suffix notation differs between the implementations. See the Cart3D input file documentation for further details.
