UG_IO SimSys POLY 3D Grid File Type
A POLY file contains a tria/quad face boundary surface grid. This file type is used by TetGen for input. See TetGen related documentation for more information. While the TetGen implementation general polygon faces, the UG_IO implementation only supports tria and quad boundary faces. POLY type grid files are only supported for output files. ASCII formatted is the only file format supported for POLY type grid files.
