UG_IO SimSys EFUNC 3D Function Data File Type
An EFUNC file is an Ensight Gold Function file that contains 3D field function data (scalar and/or vector). This file type assumes that an EGRID grid data file (and corresponding case file) will also be written out. The EGRID file type is supported by CEI Engight for their Ensight Gold visualization software. EFUNC type function files are only supported for output files. The internal format of EFUNC type function files is always binary and the UG_IO file format suffix will have no effect. The corresponding case file uses standard ASCII file formatting.
