This section discusses the Application Selection Area in SolidMesh. Descriptions of all of the commands under each heading are given in their corresponding sections of this document.  For those not familiar with SolidMesh, read the section on SolidMesh Basics before going any further.

The Application Selection Area has twelve options which are each described in detail in their own sections of this document.  As described previously in the Basics section, there are Global Action Areas within the program.  There are also Global CAD Areas which appear in all three CAD Options' Application Areas.  Links to the sections of this document corresponding to each selection option are given below.  In addition, a list of hot keys is provided that makes working with SolidMesh much easier.

Hot Keys Hot Keys can be used at any time. There is not an option button available for the keys, nor are they in any specific area. This is just a list of keyboard commands you may use instead of picking specific buttons on the program screen. Hot Keys
Application Area Text Fields Many of the Application Area text fields accept simple mathmatical expressions.  Expressions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, exponentiation (^), and modula (%) can be entered as in a simple calculator.  For example, the expression:   ((2+1/2-0.25)*2^2) will produce a result of 9.0.
