What's New in SolidMesh v5.50
Enhancements / Additions:
- Added command line option
-gui 2 to specify an alternate gui defintion that is
1430 x 835 pixels.
- Added an ability to create a
blended
surface of revolution.
- When Deleting
Surfaces with Parametric curves
defined on them, the Parametric curves are deleted along with
the surface. When Undeleting said
Surface, the Parametric curves
will return along with the Surface.
- Additional information provided when
Querying Parametric curves and
Surfaces with Parametric curves.
- The scale sensitivity
(translate, rotate, and zoom) is no longer reset when the view is
reset. To reset the individual scale values to the default, press
the "Ctrl" key (Control) with the appropriate key. To
define a new default value, press the "Alt" key with the appropriate
key.
- Added the ability to Save and
Restart the
Discrete Geometry topology defintion.
- Added a Higer-order
Discrete Geometry surface representation.
- The Edge Grid display is
managed accordingly when Surfaces are
Toggled On or
Off or Groups are
Activated or Deactivated.
- SolidMesh is available for
Mac OSX 10.5. Executables for 10.4
are no longer supported.
- CAPRI is available for
Mac OSX 10.5 versions.
- Export volume grids to
NSU3D format (.mcell).
- Filenames may contain periods in
addition to the ones used to separate the file extensions.
- Normal growth may be applied to
Transparent surfaces.
- In Auto-growth mode,
update the
Maximum Growth Rate,
Number of Constant Layers,
Initial Growth Rate, and
Growth Multiplier fields when the
Initial Spacing changes. The
Maximum Growth Rate is limited based on the
Initial Spacing.
